Jan 11 - A new postal agency opened in the village of Albion on 16 December 2010, located in a supermarket. Click here for photos and cancel. Postal agencies at Roche Bois and Creve Coeur are no longer operational.

Aug 11 - New post office opened at  La Flora on 01 June 2011 and at Glen Park on 17 August 2011. The postal agency at Henrietta was closed down in August as the new Glen Park Post Office is situated nearby.

28 August - Uploaded 75 pages of my first ever competitive exhibit on World War II Censorship in Mauritius. Refer to the Postal History page.

21 August - Updated data on the Web Riposte labels.

13 June 11 - Added a page on Rodrigues under the Miscellaneous section - stamps of Mauritius with a Rodriguan flavour.

June 11 - In the list of Post Offices, those marked with ' # # '  have a scan of  cover(s)  added. Some of the covers, usually registered, are trimmed for neatness. I am also working on a separate section on Rodrigues. So watch this space!!!

May 11 - Details of First Flight carrying mail into Mauritius in 1933 and Slogan cancellations added under  Miscellaneous page

16 Apr 11 - Under Miscellaneous, I have uploaded a section on Post Office meter marks with scans.

Apr 11 - Scans of Commercial Meter Marks have been added in the respective page at the end of each listing.

Mar 11 - The section on Commercial Meter Marks (now about 430)  has been updated to include the examples I managed to get in December. Having brought back a few examples, I shall upload some scans in due course.

Feb 11 - On my recent trip to Mauritius, I took photos of the post offices I came across. I have uploaded these together with other photos I had taken before, some as early as 1990. These photos can be accessed via the Post Offices page under the Miscellaneous menu. Click on the link to the respective post office. Hopefully on my next trip (in the distant future), I will be able to get the remaining ones.

Jan 11 -  The list of Post Offices/Postal agencies under Miscellaneous has been updated. A listing of Closed Post Offices has also been added.

May 10 - Under Miscellaneous menu, I have added a section on the History of Mauritius. Starting with the History definitive set of 1978, the stamps as well as some historical facts are listed.
